The Adam Lezack Award
in Mergers and Acquisitions

Adam Lezack
LL.B (2005)
Adam Lezack, LL.B (2005) established an endowment fund to annually support a prize for students in the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba. The purpose of the fund is to reward academic excellence and to encourage student exposure in the specialized area of Mergers and Acquisitions. The award is administered by the Desautels Accelerator and is a value of $1,100.
Student must have been enrolled full-time in the second or third year of the Bachelor of Laws, JD program in the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba in 2024-2025 and have demonstrated academic excellence based on a minimum degree grade point average of 3.0.
Submission date is released in the winter semester. Applicants are required to: (1) confirm in a brief statement that they are in the qualifying year of study, and have a minimum 3.0 average, and
(2) submit a 1500- word blog in the specialized area of Mergers & Acquisitions.

Submissions are adjudicated by a sub-committee of the Law Business Advisory Committee, and the winner is notified in writing by the Faculty Awards Officer in the late summer.
